All my friends are so-called born travellers and when it comes to the point when it is necessary to choose the next spot where we’ll spend our holidays this becomes quite a challenge. We need to gather round the table and decide what country has left our attention and should be written down into the list of potential candidates to visit. Since our last trip to Katar we decided to choose something more calm and safe. John suggested visiting Russia which caused a huge discussion. Actually, we have never thought of Russia as a potential country to be visited by our group of extreme travellers who do not know any borders. No, there are no prejudices against Russians but we thought that it is impossible to get a visa support to Russia since the country has been secluded from the rest of the world for more than half a century or even more if we take a pre-war period. Anyway, visiting Russia has never been in fixed in our plans but John told us that this should have always been our number one priority but we were not active enough to find out more about the opportunities to visit this glorious country. Getting a tourist voucher to Russia is as easy as buying rolls at the nearest bakery. For sure visa costs money but this is even not the considerable sum we had to pay just to cross the borders of African continent countries. That’s why this time it has been settled that in two months were are booking tikets for river cruises in Russia and spend there at least one month.
